With the sun shining we set out to the meadows on the west side of Ashton Court in search of orchids. It wasn’t long before we were rewarded with some beautiful flowers,with Pyramidal (Anacamptis pyramidalis), Common-spotted (Dactylorhiza fuschii) and Bee orchids (Ophris apifera) all on show, as seen below.
